A weekend at the cottage is not complete without a burger; there is something about biting into that juicy goodness that just makes it feel like a weekend.The obvious problem though is that a big fatty beefy burger is quite the blip in a healthy eating regimen.These burgers are a combination of ground turkey and pork.Using these combinations for meats gives you a wonderful burger, because the turkey is quite meaty, but very lean and the pork adds the juiciness that you really need in a burger
Combine the ground meats, feta, Dijon, herbs and vinegar.Mix well and form into four patties.You can make these in advance and leave in the refrigerator.It is actually a good thing to do because they are easier to cook.Cook the patties until they are done to your liking, but bear in mind they are pork and turkey, not beef.When they are cooked place a slice of cheese on the burgers and grill until the cheese is melted.Serve on a bun with lettuce, tomato and the condiments or your choice.
